Request a Police Record (Criminal Record) in France

A criminal record or police record is a record of a person’s criminal history, generally used by potential employers, lenders etc. to assess his or her trustworthiness. The information included in a criminal record varies between countries and even between jurisdictions within a country. (Wikipedia)

Do you want to create a company in France (or European Union?)

Well, you will need this criminal record. When i was asked about this paper, knowing the Romanian bureaucracy, i prepared for worst. Visiting Romania few weeks ago, i droped by the Financial Direction and asked for “Casier Judiciarire National”. The response was short – You have to depose the papers by yourself, pay a tax, come back in one week with your ID Card and personally. I said “you know, we are living in EU, can you just send me back to France?” NO – end of story.

Casier Judiciaire

But in France you have an online service for this document, you just fill the form and wait HOME to find it in MAIL. It doesn’t matter from which country you request (including Romania) … So, guys, just use the European Tools and will be better … 🙂 The databases ARE united.
